Racing to save lives...

About a month ago I signed up to run an olympic distance triathlon and to raise money to fight Leukemia and Lymphoma. I decided to start this blog in order to share some of my experiences as well as document for myself the adventure I was about to embark on. Since then the training has progressively intensified, but it's been the experience of coming together with a group of like minded individuals which has begun to change my life. Although we aall have our own personal reason for pursuing this cause, in the end, we're really just racing to save lives.

If you would like to learn more about my personal reason, please visit my visit my profile on the Team in Training site (an organization that works with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society).
